Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

Mocku is a device mockup studio that runs in your browser. This policy explains what we store, what we don't, and how to have your data removed.

In short: your designs and screenshots are saved in your browser, and we do not upload them. What we keep on a server is the account you sign in with, and a note of each export you make (the time, the format, and the preset you started from, never the file). If we ever add optional cloud saving, it will be something you turn on yourself, and we will update this page before it ships.

What stays on your device

  • Your designs: scenes, layouts, and settings are saved in your browser's own storage. They are not uploaded to us.
  • Your screenshots and images: everything you drop into Mocku is composited locally, in your browser. We do not receive a copy.
  • Your exports: generated on your device and downloaded straight to it.

Because this data lives in your browser, clearing your browser storage deletes it, and we cannot recover it for you. Use Export backup in Settings to keep a copy.

What we store on our servers

Only if you choose to sign in with Google:

  • Your account: the details Google gives us when you sign in (your email, name, and profile picture), and the records that keep you signed in.
  • A record of each export: the time, the file format, and which preset you started from, linked to your account, so we can see how much Mocku is used and which presets are worth making more of.

The export record is about the fact of an export, never its contents. We do not store your designs, your images, or the exported files themselves, and nothing you put on the canvas reaches our servers. We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising. You can use Mocku without signing in, it is only required to export.

Cookies

One cookie, set only after you sign in, and only to keep you signed in. It is strictly necessary for that purpose. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

  • Google Sign-In: named because you interact with it directly. When you sign in, Google confirms your identity to us, and your use of their service is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: run the site and the database on our behalf, and handle technical request data (such as IP addresses) needed to deliver and protect the service.
  • Our feedback form provider: receives what you type into the feedback form, along with basic technical context about the app and the design you had open. That context is about the app, not about you.

Keeping your data, and deleting it

We keep your account record until you ask us to delete it. Sessions expire after 30 days. Deleting your account also deletes your export records. To see what we hold about you, or to have your account and email deleted, email [email protected] and we'll action it.

Children

Mocku isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
